Dear Colleague,
Now
that you've got the basic fundamental concepts of Traditional Chinese
Medicine, we will be spending more time getting to the specifics of
the major meridians.
Here
are your step-by-step directions:
1. Success
Routine and Environment (1 minute)
- Make sure you have 60
minutes of uninterrupted time before you begin today's work.
2. Grounding
(5 minutes)
- Today we introduce some
new grounding stances, these are likely to come up on the exam.
For today's grounding
exercise, please...
Spend 5 minutes
practicing
the "Advance
and Retreat".
(Give each leg
an equal amount of practice.)
-
For more information on click on this resource
page and click on "Grounding Exercises".
3. Setting
Clear and Powerful intentions (5 minutes)
- By the end of the lesson
the
student will...
> Know
the 14 major meridians and their characteristics.
> Understand
the use and purpose of SOAP charting.
> Continue
to review previous concepts.
- In your Success Journal WRITE the
answers to the following question(s)...
> What is
your
ULTIMATE OUTCOME for today's studying?
> How can
you use your own body to help you remember the path of the meridians?
> How can
you involve someone else to help you remember today's lesson?
4. Tools

want.
5. ACTION
STEPS (about 45 minutes)

Take about 5 minutes to give yourself a quick practice quiz on the previous

(These
charts will be great resources for keeping all this information clear.)
1.
Print and complete the chart for: The
Meridians

One concept that is pretty much guaranteed to be on your exam is SOAP
charting, so....
