I am not even close to being an Olympic Soccer player, as a matter of fact, I’m not even at the level of playing on a highly competitive team. But that does not take away the opportunity to take on my next adventure by playing on a co-ed 6-on-6 beginner/intermediate level of soccer.
For the last few months I’ve been watching Cathy’s team improve and have tons of fun at the same time. Since my football season was over, I was itching to do something else. No sooner had I made that clear choice for myself than the opportunity showed up. The same league that my wife plays for started this beginners/intermediate co-ed league just for fun, and fun it has been.
I am sharing this with you partly because I wanted to remind everyone how wonderful and important it is to still enjoy being that little kid. What are you doing to keep that little kid inside you happy and having fun? If you aren’t doing much and want to possibly join us, I invite you to come to one of our games. We play on Tuesday evenings at North County Soccer Park in Poway, either at 6pm or 7pm (one game starts at 6 and the other at 7). If soccer is not your thing, then I still encourage you to do something that would be fun for that little kid inside of you.
In case you are confused by the title, I’ll clarify by sharing with you that this article is an update on the results from two previous postings. The previous postings I shared with you are listed below:
Since I want to make it quick and to the point, I’ll just state what the results have been. If you have further questions, please contact me and I’ll be happy to share what I know.
As for the holy tea, I’ve now been on it for three weeks and in that time I’ve lost nearly 10lbs., I feel great energy, my focus has improved, and I’ve been able to stay on this cleanse with ease. Holy tea has how made my top three for highly effective and great quality cleansing products. In case you are curious what are the other two, they are Natures Sunshine Clean Start and Liquid cleanse. All three of these products have helped me greatly at maintaining great health and vitality.
As for the black mold that I had encountered in my bathroom. It has now been well over a month and a half and it has not returned since I used the essential oils to clean it. Prior to trying out the essential oils, I had cleaned it with other solutions and then the mold would come back. I am a whole hearted believer in the power of Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils of Young Living. I can only speak of my experience, so if you’d like to be your own testimonial I’d encourage you to try it for yourself.
I’ll keep you posted on future results as I experience them. Meanwhile, enjoy great health, wellness and vitality.
Ahhhhhhh! It feels so good to be home, though it also felt so good to be away. As many of you know, I like to travel about a few months out of the year, of course I spread that out throughout the year and vary the locations. This year, we chose to go to Costa Rica, I had heard so many good things about it and we also wanted to practice our Spanish. Then I enjoyed just under two weeks visiting Texas, why Texas you ask? Family. Yes, most of my direct family is now in Texas and I wanted to make sure I spent some time with them. I feel very blessed and grateful to have the opportunity and mindset to continue to create these “down” times. They give me a renewed energy and vitality to the other areas of my life that I love. I truly believe that everyone should make it a priority to take time off from the routine and slow down, even if it is just for a few days. It is amazing how re-energizing and revitalizing this simple process can be. It doesn’t have to be a whole month or year, but giving yourself time and changing the routine can create phenomenal results in other areas of your life. Don’t believe me? Try it out.
Enough on that, here is a quick summary of the things we did. In Costa Rica, we enjoyed some AMAZING local food, the food throughout most of the trip was okay, but there was a little shop where I truly tasted some of the yummiest food I’ve ever tasted. We got to see monkeys, iguanas, exotic birds, and other beautiful wildlife. Costa Rica is truly a beautiful gem that has sustained much of its natural habitat. Though many areas are becoming “touristy”, it still maintains much of its culture. Speaking of touristy, we did get to do zip-lining (which was very exciting), thermal hot springs from the Arenal Volcano area, hanging bridges, and even got to travel into Nicaragua. We truly did quite a bit and at the same time had plenty of time to relax. If you are ever planning to go to Costa Rica, and want some tips from our experience, feel free to email me.
As for Texas, I went there more to be with family than to tour, so there is not much to say, other than it is always a pleasure and gift to me when I get to spend time with my family. Again, another thing I would recommend doing.
If you are still reading, I thank you for your interest in keeping up with my adventures and I’ll continue to share others as I create them. Create an amazing day, Leo
After all was said and done it appears my back may have been a herniated (bulging) disk. Wow! never had one of those before. Nonetheless, I am pretty much back to my old healthy self and doing things to nurture my back and overall health.
One of the things I’ve decided to do is modify my eating patterns, and so far the results have been pretty darn good. I’ll share more with you after I’ve made these changes more of a lifestyle. But in the meantime I’ve released over 6 lbs. in one week and am feeling great energy throughout the day (plus I’m eating almost everything I want). If you want to know what I’m doing….stay tuned and I’ll let you know over my next few newsletters.
Well, it is just over two weeks, and it became apparent that my back needed quite a bit of nurturing. In case you didn’t know, I threw out my back sleeping just over two weeks ago. I’m happy to tell you that I’m nearly at 100% today. I can still feel that my body is adjusting a bit from all the “holding on” of the tissues that took on most of the stress. But overall, I am happy to share with you that I’m feeling much better.
I am also taking this opportunity to thank all those who have sent their good thoughts, and supported me in any way that they could. I truly appreciate you and your loving support.
As I did before, I also want to share with you what I’ve done since to support my back since my last update.
Here is a quick list, in case you or anyone you know has a similar situation.
Chiropractic - I’ve continued my chiropractic sessions and each time I feel a bit better.
Therapeutic Massage - I have the good fortune of having access to many different massage therapists, and this time I even had the opportunity of receiving therapeutic massage work from one of my teachers and founder of Body Mind College (Dr. Barry Green). As expected, his work was great and supported my healing greatly. (Phone: 619-370-4050)
Raindrop Therapy - I received a raindrop therapy session from the owner of The Tranquility Center, Alexi Dankeith H.H.P. ( 858-435-0817) This powerful use of therapeutic grade essential oils was both nurturing and powerfully healing. The wonderful thing about this process is that it can be done by anyone, you can get all that you need directly form Young Living Essential Oils. Or if you wish to learn how to use Rain Drop technique for free visit www.lindahenning.com and see when her next class takes place.
Well, I didn’t hurt myself playing football, I didn’t hurt myself practicing soccer with Cathy, I didn’t hurt myself playing with Kaleo….but I did throw out my back sleeping last Friday. Fortunately, I have learned to take every situation in my life as a blessing, and this situation is no different.
One of the blessings of focusing on health, wealth, and growth, is that I have been blessed with many resources and loving support to help me in situations like these. For example here is a short list of what I’ve done to support my healing… (Also sharing ways for you to contact any of them if you need them, just let them know how you heard about them)
Therapies:
Chiropractic - Since the injury started off as structural, my chiropractor Dr. Redmond has been great. (619-252-6234)
Massage - I received a great gentle massage from Jesse Canata that has helped greatly (858-603-2801)
Biofeedback/SCIO/EPFX - Great energy work through the always amazing EPFX/SCIO device with Cathy Bliss (619-419-8031)
Physical Therapy - These exercises have helped strengthen and support my back, check out the video below.
Other Tools & Resources:
Tei-Fu Lotion - Kinda like a natural ben-gay that has been great for alleviating pain.
I got a simple back-brace from home depot, so I feel like one of their employees
And I’ve been able to get quite a bit of rest while still being able to keep up with all that I’ve wanted to do via the web.
But I think what has been the most supportive has been all the love and care I’ve received from family and friends. My wife and Kaleo have been awesome. My family has been their usual loving and caring selves and sharing all their resources. And the amazing people that are around me and are always willing to share their healing gifts, thank you!
As I said every situation has a blessing in it, and this one has been no exception. I’ve been able to slow down, get more rest, see how much love and support I have, and how many resrouces I’ve accumulated over time. Plus, I’ve been able to enjoy the great relationships that I’ve build over time, thank you all.
I leave you with a couple of things. First, check out the video below to see the back exercises I’ve been doing. Second, as you may have noticed I’ve opened up this posting to comments in case you want to share anything that has worked for you in healing your back. Thanks.
I truly am grateful to have enjoyed the gift of some amazing Moms, these include my Mother, my wife (now a mommy), my lovely sister, and even my in-laws.
It almost seems inadequate for there to only be one day we celebrate for all that these amazing women do. I truly hope each and every Mommy can enjoy even a small portion of the love they give to all of us. Thank you for all your love and kindness. I hope you enjoy the following video.
I’m very excited to share some great news with you. I have achieved yet another goal set for Body Mind Success. For months I’ve been talking about the tips and secrets to becoming ranked high in the search engines, particularly Google. I am happy to share with you that we’ve achieved our first benchmark. In less than 5 months, we are ranked #1 in Google! Click on the picture to see it or simply do a search on google for “Success Coaching for health”. We are also currently #3 for Success Coaching for wealth, and climbing quickly in other key themes for Body Mind Success. I share this because I want to remind you that there is so much available to you and your success, whether that be in business success, life success, and or any other success in your life. The internet indeed can provide a great level playing field, when you have the desire and committment to achieve your dream.
In case you are wondering what are some of the key steps I used and how much I spent, or anything of that matter, I’ll clear that up right now. I made it a personal challenge to put myself in the position of anyone else that didn’t have the big business resources readily available, or a ton of time to dedicate, or didn’t have tons of energy, and still achieve the #1 search engine position, particularly in Google and Yahoo, the other ones follow. I didn’t spend any money to have someone else put me up on top of the search engines (I did spend on some of the learning materials, and some softwares to speed up the process, but this was under $200 total). As far as time, I have my beautiful little boy that loves to play with Daddy, and that didn’t allow much time to apply to this goal, so I did it on down times. And as for energy, the most amount of energy was spent on some of the detail work to get my goal, but now that I’ve done it I’ll be outsourcing some of this.
One of the educational tools that really helped was the book I’ve shared with you for free a few times, and many of you donwloaded (press here if you missed that posting). It even has direct links to some of the softwares I used like Keyword Elite. There is truly a science and defined system on how to properly and honestly get your website up to #1 for any term you want. I’m living proof, and hopefully the challenge I set for myself will help inspire you to reach that goal that you have have set for yourself but put off to the side. It doesn’t have to do with the internet, it simply has to do with your desire and committment to keep going and reaching your goal. Keep going, I’m rooting for you and your success.
It’s been a week since I completed my last workshop at Melrose Way and am glad to say that I’m still preparing some yummy raw meals. It is only natural that I’m not eating 100% raw, however, I have increased the amount of whole raw foods. One of the great things I have experienced from increasing the amounts of raw foods is that I’ve experienced more energy, and overall even better. I knew ABOUT the effects eating more raw foods, but I hadn’t experienced it to the level I’ve experienced it now. I wholeheartedly would encourage others to eat more whole organic raw foods, and experience the results themselves. I even suggested to the owner of Melrose Way (Ted) to share some of their great recipes, and I think he’s going to do it. So keep an eye out for them by visiting their site at www.melroseway.com . Enjoy and I’ll keep you posted on how the non-cooking is going :-).
If you don’t like to prepare fod either, I’d encourage you to keep reading and share in my experience. I’ve never been someone that has had much affinity for preparing my own meals. Thus quite often I find myself eating things that I know are not as healthy as I’d like them to be. The time has come for me to change that.
Therefore, this week I am participating in a training that involves three areas that I love learning and that have changed my life in many ways (all for the better). I am participating in a weeklong immersion program called Melrose Way, whose training primarily revolve around :
Preparing raw food for the everyday person. (That’s me
Understanding the biology of beliefs and how to change them.
Integrating through the practice of Tai Chi Chih
I don’t know that I have seen another training quite like it. So far my experience has been quite fun and empowering. I even learned how to make my own pie crust out of all raw foods, and we turned it into a strawberry pie that was delicious. In the past I’ve never been one to be much for preparing food. Usually I’m quite busy playing with all my other toys. However, I do have an understanding that whatever I put into my body has a great influence on my health, how I feel, and ultimately how I live my life. Preparing some of these delicious dishes are not as hard as I once thought. Most of what we’ve made so far has been quite easy and with very little clean up (which is a bonus for me).
Why am I sharing this with you? Because in my journey to help people inspire, educate, and empower themselves, I understand that I must continue to have my own growth and SHARE it with others. I trust that my story may peak even a little bit of interest for you to take another step into your own growth, success, and improved health. If this is something that resonates for you, find out more about Melrose Way by pressing here or give them a call at 760 536-8729. Enjoy your awesome life.
