But with today’s technology, I can share with you a quick video.
This video will share with you:
A bit about the company
Share with you some basic & powerful uses of oils
A little bit of aromatherapy history
It will talk about lavender, pepermint, thieves blend, peace & calming, valor blend,

Katie Kastrup states “When ever I get a new cut I put lavender oil right on it. This allows for cleaning and a quick healing process, so I don’t have to worry about it getting any worse. I am a new mom, so I don’t always have time for myself! I keep a bottle of Young Living lavender oil in my diaper bag.”
However, keep in mind that not all lavenders oils are of the same quality. It is very important to use a therapeutic grade essential oil to maximize the benefits each oil brings.
Watch the video below and learn what makes up a therapeutic grade essential oil. This short video was actually televised on TV’s STudio 5 (Channel 5). Enjoy.
Here are some of the additional uses of lavender shared on this show:
Get your beauty sleep with the help of lavender linen spray. Pour a few drops of Young Living lavender essential oil (4-8 drops per 4 oz. container) into a spray bottle and fill with distilled water. Mist your pillows and bed linens before going to sleep.
Skin soothing at-home spa treatment–lavender bath fizzers. Mix 2 TBSP. baking soda, 2 tsp. citric acid, and 8-10 drops Young Living lavender essential oil in a small bowl. Spray 1-2 sprays of water into mixture. Stir and repeat sprays of water until mixture sticks together when compacted. Press small amounts into candy molds or into small balls. Allow to sit for 2 minutes, turn molds over and release fizzers onto wax paper. Let dry until hardened all the way through. Drop into warm water and enjoy a soothing soak in the tub!
Pretty pedicure time with our exfoliating lavender foot scrub. Stir together 1/4 c. Dead sea salt or epsom salt, 1/4 c. Young Living V-6 Oil or unscented massage oil, and 3-6 drops Young Living lavender essential oil. Mix well; pour into container. Place a small amount in hand and scrub over feet that have soaked in warm water. Rinse off and apply lavender lotion. (Painting toenails a pretty pink is optional, but highly recommended!)
It has been such a treat to have a wife that is into taking care of herself, staying active inspite of all the responsibilities of motherhood, wife, work, and friend. Just recently Cathy started playing soccer. She’s never played before and it’s been fun for her and her teammates. However, she’s also learned about the pains that sometimes go with the sport. She recently sprained both of her ankles and was a bit bummed as to how that would affect her being able to play. Fortunately we’ve both been athletes and have used some of the standard remedies to help the healing process. But one thing she had never used was essential oils to help her sprains. This time we used a combination of oils and it was truly amazing to see the speed at which her body recovered. We used Young Living’s Palo Santo, PanAway, and Regenelin. I kid you not, that in less than 24 hours, her swelling was improved by over 70% and within 48 hours she was very close to 100%. I myself had never seen this kind of recovery. Of course some healing still needed to happen. But what a head start with a few simple tools. I share this story especially for those weekend warriors that are constantly looking for resources to help them stay healthy and active. I trust Cathy’s story will help you. Teaspoon of Honey: (I like Young Living’s AGAVE the best)
Add 2 drops of lemon (Code 3578)
Add 2 drops of Melrose (Code 3378)
Add 2 drops of cedarwood (Code 3509)
Stir into the honey or AGAVE with tooth pick. Put the spoon in mouth with the honey/AGAVE and oils and hold in mouth until the honey/AGAVE and oils are dissolved, then swallow.
Stay well! Ariel
