Have you ever noticed how successful individuals seem to be doing only things that they want?  Ever wonder how they manage to do that?  This article will give you a basic understanding of how you can do the same.

The first thing to understand is the four major areas for getting from where you are to where you want to be.  Then setting up a team of individuals filling in and playing the roles that they most love to play.  Wondering how this can be accomplished?  Read on…

First lets understand the four major stages for getting from where you are to where you want to go:

  1. The Visionary - This stage is the process where the vision of what you want is created.  Some individuals love to play in this arena.  They love to create new ideas, visions, solutions, and to stay on the leading edge.  This part is very important because it brings the energy needed in the birth of a new idea or concept.  Any idea will run into its challenges along the way, therefore, the more energy it has at the beginning, the better chance it has to come to fruition.
  2. The Advancer - Ths stage is the essential step in narrowing down all those ideas by developing systems that will take the top 3-5 ideas or solutions created in the visionary part of the process.  This is an essential step in beginning to break the process into small sequential steps that can be set into a plan to move forward.  This is also the process where the most important steps of a sequence are identified and ready to be put thorugh the “mill” to trouble-shoot them before they really get underway.
  3. The Refiner - This stage is the “mill”.  Namely, this is the stage where the idea gets put through the “mill” to identify any major potential challenges or pitfalls that may kill the vision in its journey to coming to fruition.  This is where all the potential challenges are brought up (not resolved) but brought up so that they may be addressed based.  This step can be incredibly powerful in ensuring that the vision survives and becomes a reality.
  4. The Executor - This stage is the “just do it” stage.  This stage comes into effect once the vision has been put through the entire process shared in the first three stages.  This is where nothing needs to be “figured out”, it simply just needs to be applied.  It is most effective when the instruction is clearly defined and all the focus and attention is on just doing it.  This is where the though, idea, and vision becomes a material result.  This is where you see your dream come true, but the other three stages are essential in making this stage happen.

Now that you have the basics of the four stages that are necessary to take something from an idea stage to a manifestation stage, I’ll ask you a few questions:

  1. From the stages described above, which would you say you enjoy doing the most?
  2. Who do you know that loves to do some of the other steps you don’t love?
  3. How can you bring these individuals together to fill in the roles you don’t love and they do love?

Write down the answers to the three questions above, then get clear as to how you can create a win-win situation for everyone involved and begin to implement this process.  It is amazing to see how many people will want to play a role when they are playing a role they love.  What’s even more amazing is to see how many people will play their role and want nothing in return (though I’d recommend you still create a win-win situation for them).  Think about it for just a moment.  How many times have you found yourself “volunteering” to do something simply because you enjoyed the role you were playing…you were just simply having fun doing what you do.  This is exactly what happens when you have the clarity of the roles mentioned above and you set up your team in such a way that everyone is playing to their strength.

The Answer To Success

Free Success Coaching? How to get more free coaching

You want to get free coaching?  Then take the time to understand three critical questions that must be asked by any good coach.  They may be presented differently by each coach, however, they must be asked.  Below you’ll find the specific questions, and how to implement these questions.

Before I share the specific questions, I must share with you that in order for this to work, you’ll need to select someone that will ask you these questions and will help you hold yourself accountable.  If you don’t have someone in your life that can help you do this, then contact us and we’ll help you find someone that can.

Here is one variation of the three important questions I am talking about:

  1. What actions did you take yesterday towards your goal?
  2. What specific actions are you taking today towards your goal?
  3. What would support you today in taking your steps towards your goal?

The ideal is for these questions to be asked and answered daily.  Who do you have that can help you by simply asking you these questions daily? Find this person, answer these questions with consistency, and you have your free coaching.

Success attained by doing this one thing…

BE CONSISTENT!

There! There’s the secret to success. Yes, it truly is that simple. I know that every success I’ve had, and have helped others have has come down to this one key action, consistency. Take a look around your successes, how consistent did your actions need to be for you to have reached the success you wanted. I’m going to venture and say that your consistent action eventually resulted in getting exactly what you wanted.

It wasn’t too long ago, on one of my consistent morning walks that I was reminded of this universal law by another of my mentors, James Ray. In that same walk I reflected on may of my successes and recognized that indeed consistent action towards my desired goals was the key ingredient to every success I’ve had.

In order to be consistent, I had to be committed to my desired goal. Thus, another way to look at consistency is as commitment. How committed are you to getting what you say that you want? Wait…don’t answer that just yet. Take these steps and find out.

  1. What is one thing that you say that you want?
  2. What consistent action are you taking daily towards this desired outcome?
  3. Is what you are doing getting you closer to what you want? Or further from what you want?

Once you’ve answered the questions above you’ll have your irrefutable evidence on the level of commitment you have towards reaching this goal. If you are getting what you want, then this may just seem like commons sense. But if you are not getting what you want, I’d encourage you to reflect on the following questions and WRITE down your answers:

  1. What is your desired outcome?
  2. What consistent action are you wiling to take today (and each day) ?
  3. What are some benchmarks that will help you measure your progress towards your goal?

I’ll end with the simple reminder that your level of success will be directly proportional with your level of consistency in taking action towards that goal.

A friend once shared a quote that I loved. “Success is getting up one more time than you fall down”. As long as you keep getting back up and moving forward, you can not fail. Keep going and may you create everything you want in your life.

Success begins with clear intention

Success speaker and trainer Wayne Dyer shares the importance of clear intention in his book “Power of Intent“.  This is not a new topic, and lets put our thinking cap for just a moment.  Think about anything that you’ve ever created, each and everyone of those started out with a thought.   The clearer the picture in your mind, the clearer the intention.

Successfully achieving what you want, requires being clear on what you want FIRST.  This is why you often see or hear the idea of starting with the end in mind.  When you start with the end in mind, then you are once again telling your conscious and subconscious mind, “This is what we are creating, so focus on it.”  And the subconscious, like a genie, responds with “Your wish is my command”  (Side note: If you haven’t read or seen The Secret, I’d strongly recommend it).  Then your entire mind begins to work and focus on what’s needed to create the result you envisioned.

For the sake of keeping this article at a reasonable length, I will not go much deeper into how this whole process works.  You don’t have to believe me, you can try it out for yourself.  Take the steps below and see what happens:

  1. Pick an outcome you’d like to manifest (I’d suggest starting with something you feel might be reachable).
  2. Close your eyes and picture the exact outcome in your mind, as if it has already happened.
  3. Allow yourself to completely feel the experience as much as you can.  (The mind has a tough time distinguishing the difference between something that is vividly imagined, and something that is really happening…this is why dreams feel so real).
  4. Write the picture and the experience down once in as much detail as you can.
  5. On a daily basis, in the morning and just before going to bed, allow yourself to visualize the same clear picture of the outcome you wish to manifest.
  6. Then, just allow yourself to go about your day.  If you wish to speed up this process, make the empowered choice to take one action that will bring you one step closer to your envisioned outcome.

Success through asking the right questions

Successfully getting results? I’ll take a quick moment to remind you that the way that you think is directly connected to the way that you feel, then you will act accordingly and based on your actions you will get a result.

Do you like the results you are getting? Keep going….

If you don’t like the results you are getting, then change your thinking. It really is that simple.

This is great, but how do I change the way I am thinking. There are many ways to do this. Today I will share with you a simple tool you can use to help you.

The tool is ASK EMPOWERING QUESTIONS! I’ll use two questions as an example.

Question #1: Can I succeed in achieving my goal?

When this question is asked the (conscious and unconcious) mind will automatically answer it. The answer will either be yes or no. If it is yes, you may begin another series of questions searching how to achieve your goal. If the answer is NO, then you have immediately closed the door on potential posibilities. I love the quote by Henry Ford:

“If you think you can, you’re right, if you think you can’t, you’re right”. Thus, you choose.

Question #2: How can I succeed in achieving my goal?

This question automatically assumes and tells your subconscience, “oh, we are succeeding, now we just need the tools”. Now you consciously and sub-consciously will be looking for and attracting the tools you need to be successful.

See, your mind will not stop until it answers the questions you ask. Take a moment and re-read that last statement….Understanding this process is powerful.

If we know that our mind will not stop until it finds the answers, all we need to do is ask the “right” questions, that’s it. Doing this will help change your focus, and will begin to attract into your life the things you need to get what you desire.

Where do you start? You start by getting your finances under control. The very first thing you do is you make a decision to get your finances under control. Some years ago, a man named George Classon wrote a book called The Richest Man In Babylon. It’s a classic on financial success and what Classon said in that book was that the key to becoming wealthy is to pay yourself first. Take ten percent of your earnings, of your gross income every month and put it aside. Learn to live on ninety percent or less of your gross income. So the very first thing that you do is you begin to save your money.

How to grow your Business Goldmine

There is an undeniable truth about the success of a business. It must create income or it will not survive. A KEY to the success of creating a successful business is having clients that purchase. These clients are part of your goldmine. Why do I say part? Because your prospects (and clients) make up the other important part of your success.

So, how can you grow your Goldmine? First, by having a “pot” in which to put your “gold”. In other words, you must have a system that will create, grow and maintain YOUR DATABASE (at minimum having name, email, and phone number). Second, by truly caring and creating value for your prospects and your clients. Third, following up and following through in staying in touch with them. Finally, you must have ways to test and determine if what you are doing is working, or not.

One of the simplest ways to create and grow this “goldmine, is to use an effective email system. The rest of this article will share with you some of the key points to look at and help you determine which is the most effective system for you. I could easily get off into a tangent about how much leverage you have when you have a big goldmine, but that is for another article. For this article, I’ll focus on the key components of a good email system.

Just to give you some reference of what I’ve done to get to this point of clarity about my email systems, I’ll share with you some of what I’ve invested for this knowledge. I’ve spent hundreds (if not thousands) of hours over the last 7 years researching effective email systems for growing my business, I’ve spent even more thousands of dollars in research and education of these systems, and countless amount of energy to sift and sort through experience of what is most effective for growing my business. In all these experiences, trial and error, and journey there are only a few that have stood the test of time and I’ll make mention of them at the end of this article. But first I will share with you some of the key questions and points that I would recommend you look at before selecting your system.

  • How simple is it to use?
  • How friendly and helpful is their customer service? (VERY IMPORTANT!)
  • How many unique members/emails can it hold?
  • Does it have a tracking system for who opened your email?
  • Can it track what links have been clicked?
  • How effective is the deliverability of its emails?
  • Can you import existing leads?
  • Can prospects and clients opt-out of the system automatically?
  • Can you customize the messages and templates?
  • Is there a limit of messages that can be sent? If so, what is it?

These are the core questions I’ve looked at when selecting my system. There may be more in depth questions that come up for you, and that is the main reason why I say it is so important to have a system that has great customer service.

Now, before I go on I must mention that, yes, there are programs out there that can be installed into a server and you don’t have to pay for a service. I’ve experienced these also. However, I discovered the hard way that these systems have many other limitations, and some of them are very important ones. For example, the emailing industry keeps changing as the internet grows. As these changes take place these software programs are static and don’t change with the industry, thus often making them extinct. Then you need to upgrade and spend more money, re-import your leads, etc…just a big headache. Not to mention other important issues like, understanding how many messages your server will allow you to send out in any one day. For example, did you know that Yahoo only allows 100 emails to go out in any one day? The others may end up in a holding pattern and/or never get delivered?

It is for the aforementioned reasons that I quickly learned that for emailing I prefer to pay an organization for their service that is dedicated to staying on top of the industry changes and adjusting as those changes occur. Believe me, it has been some of my best invested income. I don’t need to worry about things such as are my emails going out, are they getting bounced, blocked, etc. From using these services, I can easily track what is going on and if I have any questions I have an entire team to support me at any time.

Getting back on track…

As I bring this article to a close, I share with you that there are three major markets that will determine the growth of your business:

  1. A constant influx of new prospects and clients.
  2. Getting prospects and clients to come back more often.
  3. Getting clients and prospects to continuously take the next step.

Get a system that allows your business to maintain these three key markets, and watch your business grow.

What was her secret for tripling her income in one year?

How many times have you found yourself procrastinating, distracting yourself, or finding another way to sabotage something that you say you wanted?  As a Body Mind Success Coach, I have come across so many clients that come to me with wanting to realize their dreams.  So often they know what they’re supposed to do, however, they don’t seem to be taking the steps.  This lack of action is often very frustrating, discouraging, and often overwhelming.  If you can relate, then you might enjoy this simple story about Maria, and the tools she used to change her life forever.

Maria came in as a coaching client with the same frustrations mentioned above.  She ran a small business generating under $30K a year, and she was doing it all alone.  She knew that her business was underperforming and she was overwhelmed.  But, she didn’t know how to change it.  Well, actually she did know how to change it.  However, she didn’t understand why she wasn’t making the changes.   So here is what we discovered….

Maria mustered the courage to be supported through coaching, and allowed herself to be vulnerable and open to dig deep within her to make changes at a core level.   Having taking this first step, she began to understand that there were four steps to getting the results she was creating.  Once she understood these four steps and how they worked, she was willing to use her understanding to make changes within herself.  If you’re wondering what those steps are, here they go…

The sequence is simple.  The way you think is directly connected to the way you feel.  The way you feel directly impacts the way you act, and what you act on gets you the results you have. 

It really is that simple.  Nobody said it was easy.  It takes courage to be willing to be honest with yourself and to be willing to take responsibility for every result that is in your life.  Maria understood this, and this was the big first step in the journey to her success. 

As Maria opened up, she realized that through her life learning, at a core level she believed that “She wasn’t good enough, to ask for what she wanted”.  This impacted her in her personal life, and her professional life.  Specifically, in her business she doubted her abilities, and found herself fearful of asking for what she wanted.  Therefore, she wouldn’t ask, resulting in lack of business. 

Once that core belief was identified, she supported herself through coaching to take the power away from that belief.  She chose to implant a new thought “I am great just the way I am, and it is appropriate to ask for what I want and need”.  As she put this into practice, she started to notice that business started to grow, along with her confidence and passion for the business.  She continued to take action and by doing so, kept reinforcing her newfound belief at a core level.  You see, the more she reinforced her belief with positive outcomes, the more she wanted to do it.  Thus, creating a success cycle that just kept growing.  So, if you want to literally change your life in an instant, take a close look at your core beliefs and chose to change them.  You may consider getting a life or business coach that can help you see what you aren’t able to see, and thus begin creating your next level of success.  Whether success is defined by money, relationships, health, spiritually, or any other area in your life.  Take that first step and begin creating the life you’ve always wanted.
