Happy Thanksgiving
Can you believe it….we just about a month and a week away from the end of 2008!!!! WOW! Again, where has the time gone? It seems like it was just yesterday when Kaleo was born and I was holding his tiny little body in my arms. I hear the time feels like it goes by even faster as we grow older. I’m not sure if I’m willing to believe that…or maybe I’m just in denial…nonetheless, I am choosing to make the most of every moment.
Just like I shared with you in one of my recent posts “I am homesick” (by the way, thanks for all the kind comments shared by many of you), I am truly grateful to have created the life that I have, and a great deal of this gratitude is directed towards you for allowing the space to share my passion with you (and I trust that doing so has been of service to you in some way). At this point in my life, I believe that wealth is no longer just about money…I believe wealth has many other components that are often overlooked. These other components include wealth in the relationships, wealth in having a loving family, wealth in creating great health, and wealth in having a connection to a higher source that guides me daily. Yes, I’ve had my bumps and bruises getting to this stage in my life, and for those experiences I am even more grateful…for I understand that by having those experiences, I’ve grown and have been able to be of more service to others. I wholeheartedly believe that in every experience there are gifts and blessings (regardless of the situation), though at times it may be difficult to see those gifts/blessings in that exact moment. But one thing that I’ve learned from these experiences is that they always leave me with a powerful learning that I find very useful in a future situation.
I share these thoughts with you because I want to reinforce the belief that regardless of what is going on with the economy, or your personal life, or your love life, or anything else, you have a choice. You have the choice for these situations to take control over your life or to take these same situations in life and use an attitude of gratitude to create a peaceful and loving life. I trust you will find the gifts and blessings in any situation in your life, for when you do, you may just find that life gets a whole lot more fun.
Meanwhile, I take this opportunity to thank you for your love, your relationship, your ongoing support and simply for the gifts you bring into my life. Please accept these intentions even if our only interaction has been through these articles. I do wish you a loving and blessed passionate life. Happy Thanksgiving!
