How to create financial freedom with ease

So you want to become financialy free, huh?  You want to be wealthy, well excellent!  I congratulate you.  But before we get started let me just define that wealth can be applied to any of the major areas of your life (physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual).  It is important to understand that the concepts we are about to cover can be applied to any area in your life to create wealth.

But just for simplicity we’ll focus our attetion to actual financial wealth.  Then you can apply the priniciples anywhere else you want.  Fair enough?

Before we delve into any strategies, resources, or ideas of how to generate more income, allow me to share with you a key priniciple that is required to create the wealth and financial freedom you desire.  That priniciple is to develop a FINANCIAL FREEDOM MINDSET, that means understanding that you are already financially free, not that you are “going to be” or “want to be” financially free.  If you are willing to take on this mindset and believe that you are already wealthy, then you have taken a  huge first step.

You see, financial freedom doesn’t happen first and then the mindset.  It is actually the other way around.  Financial freedom happens in the mindset first and then manifests itself in a material form.   Therefore, today’s focus will be sharing with you some tools and exercises to start developing that mindset.

First, lets address the mind.  On a daily basis add to your routine this simple game.  Write a simple statement, stated in the present, that reminds you that you are already financially free.  Make it simple, here are a few examples:

  • Each moment I am becoming more and more financially free.
  • I am an excellent money manager.
  • I easily attract abundance into my life at every moment.
  • I am excited to be creating financial freedom on a daily basis.

If you have a challenge coming up with these statements, then write them in a way that your mind may accept them as true, for example “I feel excited that I am taking daily steps helping me become financially free”.  The main point of this part of the exercise is to re-train your mind to think in terms of financial freedom, thus it must be done every day.  A simple thing you could do is write your statement(s) on a post it and place it in your mirror, this way you’ll see it at least twice a day.

Now comes the second part of this exercise, that is the actual physical steps towards financial freedom.  This is actually taking a simple step each and everyday that will take you one step closer to these statements being completely aligned with your actions.  This step can be a small step or a big step, the point is that something is doine everyday.

Examples:

  • Take all the change from your pockets and place them in a financial freedom jar at the end of each day.
  • Open up an interest bearing account that helps your money work for you.
  • Maybe it’s as simple as begin using a financial software to manage your finances.

Whatever you do, it is a step towards creating this financial freedom.  You want different results, then you must do something different.  Einstein defined insanity as “doing the same thing over and over, and expecting a different result”.

The more you implement both parts of the exercise the faster you create your financial freedom.

Have fun creating your journey to financial freedom.
