If you don’t like to prepare food either

Melrose-Way-from-lawn-C[1]If you don’t like to prepare fod either, I’d encourage you to keep reading and share in my experience. I’ve never been someone that has had much affinity for preparing my own meals. Thus quite often I find myself eating things that I know are not as healthy as I’d like them to be. The time has come for me to change that.

Therefore, this week I am participating in a training that involves three areas that I love learning and that have changed my life in many ways (all for the better). I am participating in a weeklong immersion program called Melrose Way, whose training primarily revolve around :

  • Preparing raw food for the everyday person. (That’s me :-)
  • Understanding the biology of beliefs and how to change them.
  • Integrating through the practice of Tai Chi Chih

I don’t know that I have seen another training quite like it. So far my experience has been quite fun and empowering. I even learned how to make my own pie crust out of all raw foods, and we turned it into a strawberry pie that was delicious. In the past I’ve never been one to be much for preparing food. Usually I’m quite busy playing with all my other toys. However, I do have an understanding that whatever I put into my body has a great influence on my health, how I feel, and ultimately how I live my life. Preparing some of these delicious dishes are not as hard as I once thought. Most of what we’ve made so far has been quite easy and with very little clean up (which is a bonus for me).

Why am I sharing this with you? Because in my journey to help people inspire, educate, and empower themselves, I understand that I must continue to have my own growth and SHARE it with others. I trust that my story may peak even a little bit of interest for you to take another step into your own growth, success, and improved health.
