Over the course of running several businesses and coaching countless others.  I have seen thousands of dollars spent on marketing materials.  Though I believe many of these dollars were well spent, many more did not even cover the costs of the advertisement.  The topic of how effective a marketing campaign can be quite involved and is not the topic of this posting, maybe I’ll cover that in the near future.  But I will take the opportunity to share that many of these dollars could have been saved.

The goal of this article is to share with you a simple way you can use yourself to generate many of your own marketing materials and even deliver it to many more people than you might be reaching at the moment.

Here are your simple steps:

1. Create a simple Word, Excel, or any other file with the content you desire.
   (Remember to include your contact information so others can reach you…I can’t tell you how many times this simple step is overlooked)
2. Use a simple free or inexpensive PDF converting software like (PDF995) to convert your document into a PDF file.
3. Now deliver it through any technological method available to you.  (Your webpage, email, blog, etc.)

Quick tip for the delivery of your PDF, don’t attach in an email if at all possible.  Many email programs will not allow attachments and will automatically delete your email and the attached files.  Instead, upload the file to your website or blog, and include the hyperlink into the email.  This will allow for a much higher deliverability rate.
